NEFERTITI is a 21-year-old editorial photographer/Graphic designer, homegrown and based in Detroit, Michigan. During the summer of 2013, she and her family moved downriver, WHILE continuing to travel back and forth to finish her studies at UNIVERSITY PREP: ART & DESIGN (FORMERLY KNOWN AS HFA:SCS) IN midtown DETROIT.
Through colors, music, and her personal life experiences, she uses these "tools" to influence her work and show others the lens which she views the world THROUGH.
"Self-esteem is a crucial part of the way we navigate through our lives therefore, we should always be able to see ourselves in a light that genuinely reflects who we are, inside and out."
Nefertiti is ACTIVELY finishing her studies at the College for Creative Studies to graduate with her Bachelor's in Fine Arts, majoring in interdisciplinary design.
